Yes! For the safety of all our guests, we require up-to-date records for the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies:
Must be current within 1 or 3 years, depending on your veterinarian’s recommendation.

  • DHLPP/DHPP (Distemper/Parvo):
Must be current within 1 or 3 years.
Note: Puppies must have completed their third round of shots before boarding.

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough):
Required within the past 6 months to 1 year.
Ideally administered at least 14 days prior to boarding.

  • Spacious 6x6 Suites – Room to stretch, snooze, and sprawl! Each pup enjoys a private suite with its own window for natural light, an elevated bed, and cozy bedding.

  • Heated Floors –  Toasty toes, happy tails! Our heated floors keep your pup warm and cozy all winter long.

  • Air Conditioning – Cool, comfy, and totally chill—our climate-controlled space keeps your pup feeling great in the summer months!

  • The kennel has a pet-specific air purifier to help reduce allergens, odors, and airborne particles—providing a clean, healthy environment for every guest.

  • Soothing Classical Music – Played 24/7 to create a calm and relaxing environment.

  • Laundry Service –   Bringing bedding from home? We’ll wash your pet’s blankets or beds to keep them fresh during their stay—and give them a final clean before heading home.

  • Water Play on Hot Days – Splish, splash!  When the temps rise, we bring out the pools and sprinklers to help pups stay cool!

  • Safety Features – Your pup’s safety is our top priority—with fire, and smoke detectors in place, you can rest easy knowing they're protected around the clock.

  • 24/7 Security Camera Monitoring – We keep a close eye on all our guests—even when we’re not in the kennel—so you can rest easy knowing your pup is safe and sound around the clock.

We are very flexible with both drop off and pick up times and are more than happy to work with you based on your needs. Letting us know when you’re arriving gives us time to safely bring pups inside or give them a little space—keeping everyone calm. Just shoot us a text when you’re about 10 minutes out so we can be ready to greet you and your pup!

We love meeting new clients—and we encourage you to schedule a tour of our facility and property before your pup boards with us. Even better? Bring your dog along! It's a great way for them to get familiar with the sights, and smells of our space. Come Sniff Around!

Please note: All tours are by appointment only so we can give you our full attention (and keep things calm for current guests).

We gladly accept Cash, Checks, Venmo, and PayPal—please use whichever method is most convenient for you.

We don’t require spaying or neutering for boarding. However, to keep group play safe, stress-free, and fun for everyone, we have a few important guidelines: Dogs that are not spayed or neutered will enjoy one-on-one playtime instead of participating in group play. Females in heat are welcome, but there is an additional charge during their stay.

Yes! Some pups prefer one-on-one time with people instead of group play, and that's perfectly normal. Whether your dog is non-social, dog-selective, or still learning the ropes, we're happy to tailor their stay to suit their needs. They’ll still enjoy plenty of love, attention, and fun - just one-on-one, doing what they feel comfortable with.

Yes, please! Changing your dog’s diet suddenly can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting, or even allergic reactions. To avoid any unnecessary stress during their stay with us, we ask that you bring their usual food from home.  Tip: Please pack food in pre-portioned bags or a sealed container, and include any feeding instructions—we’ll take it from there!

We’re happy to administer oral and topical medications at no extra charge. Please be sure to bring them in their original packaging, clearly labeled with dosage instructions so we can keep your pup on track.

If your pet requires medical care during their stay, we’ll first attempt to contact you and your designated veterinarian. If we’re unable to reach either of you, we’ll transport your pet to the nearest open veterinary clinic to ensure they receive timely care. In the event of a serious emergency, your pet will be taken directly to Allied Veterinary Emergency in Eau Claire for immediate treatment.

Yes! You're welcome to bring your dog’s toys, blankets, or even their crate—whatever helps them feel cozy and relaxed. These items will stay in your pup’s individual suite for their comfort, and we’ll wash everything before sending it home.

🚫 For safety reasons, we kindly ask that you leave rawhide, chew bones, and rope toys at home—they can pose a choking risk.

You Betcha!
If a new client checks in for boarding and mentions your name as the one who referred them, you’ll earn a FREE spa bath for your pup! 🛁✨

So go ahead—spread the word and tell your friends about Woof Acres! Your pup (and their shiny coat) will thank you!
